Organizations ("Subscribers") and designated representatives using this portal are required to follow all applicable state and federal law regarding the request and use of background reports for employment purposes including but not limited to the Federal Credit Reporting Act, Illinois Uniform Information Conviction Act, and Illinois Health Care Worker’s Criminal Background Check Act. Subjects of requested background checks have the right to receive a copy of reports, question the accuracy of the information contained therein, and to contact the appropriate reporting body (credit bureau, state department of motor vehicles, Illinois State Police, etc.) for corrective action. Subscribers agree to provide a copy of background check reports to the subject of said reports within 7 days.
